Two Trees Art Gallery was born from the story of two artists who met, fell in love, and built a life rooted in creativity, connection, and a shared appreciation for the natural world.

For Dave and Kelly Hutchison, art has always been more than something to create or collect—it's a way of seeing, feeling, remembering, and connecting to the places and people that shape us.

After years of appreciating and photographing the landscapes of Vancouver Island together—and co-creating the BC bestselling book Vancouver Island: The Art of the Landscape—they opened a gallery to share that vision with you: a welcoming space where artists, collectors, and art lovers can come together, discover meaningful work, and experience the beauty of creative expression.

Set in the quaint seaside town of Qualicum Beach, on the shores of the Salish Sea, the gallery brings together Dave's photography and Kelly's paintings—two ways of seeing one beloved landscape: its forests and shorelines, tide and light, and the wild beauty of the place they call home.

We love sharing the work of artists whose vision complements our own love of nature and craft. Alongside our paintings and photography, we're delighted to welcome guest artists whose work adds new textures and perspectives to the gallery.
